![]() Same logic as when you have a vanilla game, and have custom contents with HQ textures installed – the game won’t load those HQ textures, instead it will load the size that’s set in the original GraphicsRules.sgr file in your game Bin. As far as I know, it only burdens the game performance when you have a 2560px HQ mod installed in your game. This was done in order to make the custom content compatible with a 2560px HQ mod. I use this mod to over ride the existing Sims 3 textures so I can get more realistic gameplay. All I can find is the non-default version. One is the 'Default' version Navetseas Real 2 Skin. I have everything sized up to 2560px by using Photoshop and S3PE, but you can also do it using Inge Jones’ Texture Tweaker. Since Microsoft deleted my files Ive been hunting down the few mods I lost. I think that’s an important little detail to make your sims look more realistic. ![]() My goal when I make my sims is to make them look like average people, so I try to not go too far with the sliders, and I have my sliders set to the original limit.
